BILT-PLATES® 156 Filler is a fine particle size (4 Hegman fineness) air-floated kaolin clay. It is used as a reinforcing filler in all types of coatings, adhesives, elastomers and latexes. It can be used as a TiO2 spacer in coatings that do not require a high brightness filler.

McNAMEE® Clay is a low cost air-floated kaolin reinforcer and inert filler. It is also used in crack fillers, caulking compounds, and elastomers.

VANSIL® W-50 Wollastonite is the finest of the low aspect ratio grades of VANSIL (6+ Hegman fineness). This grade is suitable for liquid industrial and corrosion resistant coatings, powder coatings and semi-gloss architectural coatings. In powder coatings, this grade is desirable for smoother films and improved gloss. The naturally high pH of wollastonite helps to buffer latex paints and coatings, which contributes to improved corrosion resistance and weathering. This also extends in-can stability and prolongs the lifetime of the coating.

VANSIL® WG Wollastonite is a high aspect ratio, long needle grade of wollastonite. It is used principally as a mineral filler and reinforcing agent to enhance mechanical strength properties in high build coatings, texture paint, and block fillers. In high film build coatings, the needle-like shape of VANSIL WG improves mud crack resistance and sag resistance, while also contributing to peak retention in texture coatings. The naturally high pH of wollastonite helps to buffer latex paints and coatings, which contributes to improved corrosion resistance and weathering. This also extends in-can stability and prolongs the lifetime of the coating. In calcium silicate board and fiber cement, VANSIL WG increases flexural and compressive strength, reduces shrinkage, and reduces cracking. It is recommended that high aspect ratio grades of VANSIL be added late in process to avoid possible damage to the needle structure from high shear mixing.

HeBoFill® LL-SP 120 is a Boron Nitride powder of high purity. Its high crystallinity results in excellent lubrication. The powder is also characterised by a narrow grain size distribution. The high crystallinity results in a relatively low specific surface area. This property enables a low increase in viscosity at high filler loadings.

PLASTI-GRIT® TYPE VI: CLEAR-CUT® is a light-weight thermoset Poly Allyl DiGlycol Carbonate, meets the requirements for a Type VI Grade A media as specified in MIL-P-85891A. The finished product contains no inorganic fillers and is treated with an anti-static agent. Type VI is commonly used as an abrasive, blast media, non-skid media, additive in paint & epoxies, and filler applications.
