HALOX® XTAIN® A is a white, non-refractive, tannin stain-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® XTAIN® A is a highly efficient tannin stain inhibitor providing a high level of performance and compatibility in a variety of resin systems such as styrene-butadiene latexes, acrylic latexes, vinyl acrylic latexes, and solventborne alkyds.

Manalox™ 240 has controlled reactivity, this solution of polymeric oxoaluminum octoate in high-boiling ink oil solvent can be added to most hot varnishes without the necessity of further dilution. This highly stable product causes the gelling reaction to go more slowly for example, at temperatures of 160-180 °C, complete gelling will take between 30-60 minutes. Manalox 240 does not produce any volatile byproduct alcohols during the gelling reaction.

Micral® AM550 is an ATH ultra fine product designed for thermoplastics, thermoset composites, latex coatings and rubber applications requiring a fine particle size coupled with a narrow particle size distribution. The narrow particle size distribution imparts a low surface area to Micral AM550 which can be important for formulation stability. Micral AM550 provides an economical approach to flame retardant and smoke suppression in applications such as urethane foam, unsaturated polyester resin, PVC, SBR belting, EPDM, EPR, adhesives, coatings, ABS, polyolefins and XLPE.

Another refining step is the surface-treatment with silanes or silan-based substances which can be adjusted to the respective application.
