GENIOSIL® SMP 100 is a clear, viscous liquid that readily dissolves in standard organic solvents. It exhibits virtually insolubility in aqueous media and reacts slowly, releasing methanol and forming a resinous deposit. Despite its highly reactive end groups, GENIOSIL® SMP 100 remains stable in air for several days in the absence of a catalyst. Upon the release of methanol, it promotes a high crosslinking density, resulting in the production of scratch-resistant coatings.

SILRES® 610 is a hard, solid silicone resin containing methyl groups. It is supplied in the form of solid flakes. A typical application is its use as a binder for high-temperature-resistant coatings after being dissolved in a suitable solvent. SILRES® 610 is utilized as a binder in coatings, offering a combination of heat resistance and weathering resistance. Additionally, it dries quickly, resulting in a film that is free from tackiness.

Dragonsorb® 1130 is a liquid UV absorber of the hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole class specifically developed for coatings. This product is miscible with all common solvents and can also be easily incorporated into water-borne systems. The high temperature and extraction resistance of Dragonsorb® 1130 makes it especially suitable for industrial and automotive coatings. Because of its broad UV absorption, this product also provides efficient protection to light-sensitive substrates such as wood and plastics.

HALOX® 550 WF is a water-free (WF) corrosion inhibitor and adhesion promoter that uses a sol-gel-based formula. It is designed to protect a variety of coatings, including waterborne and solventborne clear coats, glossy direct-to-metal coatings, thin-film coatings, acrylic emulsions, polyurethanes, epoxies, alkyds, water-reducible alkyds, PVB wash primers, and polyester resins. This product is suitable for use in low-pH and acid-catalyzed systems.

HALOX® 430 is a non-toxic, heavy metal-free anticorrosive pigment designed for use in waterborne and solventborne protective coating systems. HALOX® 430 is based on a unique synergy between an ion scavenging and passivation mechanism. It is recommended for use in long-term applications where the use of heavy metals, such as zinc, strontium, barium, molybdenum, and chromate, is of concern.

HALOX® SZP-391 JM is an efficient and versatile corrosion-inhibiting pigment. It is a white, nonrefractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® SZP-391 JM is equally effective in such resins as alkyds (both traditional and high solids), epoxies, latexes, water-reducible alkyds, high acid value resins, catalyzed baking systems, and vinylidene chloride-based latexes and is recommended for use in a wide variety of resin systems.

HALOX® 550 is a liquid organic-inorganic sol-gel corrosion inhibitor designed for corrosion protection in thin film coatings such as water and solvent-based finishes, high gloss DTM, conventional primers, acrylic clear coats, fast-drying lacquers, wash primers, anti-fingerprint coatings, and conversion coatings. It also increases hydrophobicity and is pH stable, making it compatible with both waterborne and solventborne coatings.

HALOX® 630 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor for solvent-borne protective coatings on metal surfaces. It may be used in solventborne clear or pigmented coatings and in systems such as 2-pack epoxy systems, high-solids epoxy esters, alkyds, acrylic resins, and 2 pack polyurethane primers. However, in bake systems, the temperature should not exceed 150°C. It should be noted that yellowing may be observed with reactive isocyanates. HALOX® 630 provides superior corrosion resistance even over poorly prepared surfaces, such as adherent rust or oil contamination.

AFCONA 3730 is a leveling agent for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. AFCONA 3730 is a high molecular weight polyester polymer which offers good leveling properties. It is very compatible with the oil-free polyester resins that are used in can coatings. This means it is very suitable for use as a leveling agent for clearcoats and pigmented coatings, as it will not give haze, orange peel or other side effects to the coating.

LO-VEL® 8300 flatting agent is a synthetic amorphous precipitated silica treated with a functionalized wax. It is designed for use in waterborne and solvent-borne coatings, and is suitable for coatings with a dry film thickness of less than 1 mil (< 20 microns).

LO-VEL® 8100 flatting agent is a high-efficiency flatting agent that is ideal for use in a variety of coating systems. It is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, wax-treated silica designed for use where a Hegman value of 6 to 6.75 is required. Moreover, its high flatting efficiency, resistance to settling and heat-age stability provide formulation flexibility and expanded process capability.

Minex® 3 belongs to the Minex® range of functional fillers and extenders, which are proven performance enhancers in a broad range of paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and inks. ASCONIUM® 140 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for long-term protection of dry film clear coats or paints. It is mainly used in solventborne coatings based on alkyd or urethane-alkyd resins, and waterborne paints based on 1K or 2K polyurethane resins.

AFCONA 3250 is an additive designed to provide the highest slip in all solvent-based coatings without stabilizing foam. It is specially developed for all solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. AFCONA 3250 belongs to the same family as AFCONA 3230. But while AFCONA 3230 is effective only in polyurethane coatings, AFCONA 3250 works in all solvent-based coatings.

AFCONA 2723 is a defoamer and air-releaser for unsaturated polyester, polyurethane, UV, and epoxy resin systems. It is recommended for thin-layer (gel coat), casting resins, and epoxy resin systems (e.g. floorings), as well as for room temperature curing of unsaturated polyesters used in glass fiber-reinforced systems.

AFCONA 3772 is a leveling and surface tension reduction agent for aqueous and non-aqueous coatings. AFCONA 3772 is an acrylic modified fluorocarbon. It contains some carboxylic acid groups, which increase the polarity of the polymer to give good compatibility with most common resins used in coatings.

ASCONIUM® 114 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for long-term protection of dry film clear coats or paints. It is mainly used in waterborne or solventborne coatings based on alkyd or modified alkyd resins, and waterborne paints based on acrylic resins.

ASCONIUM® 142DA is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for long-term protection of dry film clear coats or paints. It is mainly used in waterborne or solventborne coatings based on 1K acrylic, 2K acrylic, 1K PU or 2K PU resins.

ASCONIUM® 143 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for long-term protection of dry film clear coats or paints. It is mainly used in waterborne or solventborne coatings based on 1K acrylic, 2K acrylic, 1K PU, 2K PU or epoxy resins.

ASCONIUM® 111 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for long-term protection of dry film clear coats or paints. It is mainly used in waterborne or solventborne coatings based on alkyd, urethane-alkyd, 1K or 2K polyurethane resins.

AFCONA 2020 is a very strong defoamer suitable for most solvent-based coatings, printing inks, and thermosetting resin systems. It eliminates foam and blistering, regardless of the source of the air bubbles. However, it is not suitable for transparent, high-gloss clear topcoats.

AFCONA 3236 is an additive designed to provide slip and leveling, as well as good defoaming performance. It is an alkyl-modified polysiloxane that offers excellent slip and leveling properties. Unlike other organically modified polysiloxanes, AFCONA 3236 acts as a defoamer and does not stabilize foam in most systems, making it suitable for foam-sensitive applications such as floor coatings and high-build systems.

ASCONIUM® 112 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for long-term protection of dry film clear coats or paints. It is mainly used in waterborne or solventborne coatings based on pure or modified alkyd, polyester, 1K or 2K polyurethane resins.

AFCONA 2018 is a silicone-free defoamer that is recommended for systems where in-can transparency is important. It prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring or pumping, and functions well during the application of paints and lacquers. AFCONA 2018 is well-suited for solvent-based wood finishes where foaming is a problem when applied by spraying.
