AFCONA 2723 is a defoamer and air-releaser for unsaturated polyester, polyurethane, UV, and epoxy resin systems. It is recommended for thin-layer (gel coat), casting resins, and epoxy resin systems (e.g. floorings), as well as for room temperature curing of unsaturated polyesters used in glass fiber-reinforced systems.

AFCONA 2720 is an anti-foam and de-aeration additive for use in unsaturated polyesters, coil and can coatings, epoxies and PVC-compounds. It supports the quick deaeration of thermosetting resin systems, allowing for the production of foam-free and blister-free self-leveling compounds and laminates. AFCONA 3777 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.

AFCONA 3585 is a silicone-based leveling, substrate wetting and anti-crater agent for aqueous coatings that does not influence intercoat adhesion. It is an organically modified polysiloxane for aqueous systems. AFCONA 3585 offers very strong surface tension reduction and good compatibility performance.

DeCAL 5012 is a blend of surface active ingredients, hydrophobes, and white oil. It is an excellent foam control agent for many aqueous systems. It is used very successfully in water-based paints, paper coatings, polymer lattices, and adhesives. It is effective over a wide range of pH and temperatures.

AFCONA 3280 is a special modified polysiloxane that is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones, but insoluble in water. It offers slip, defoaming, and improvement of surface characteristics without hurting intercoat adhesion. Additionally, it offers better hot water resistance than other polyether modified polysiloxanes.
