PEL-SIL™ CL330 is a silicone-based additive consisting of a siloxane backbone and polyethylene-oxide (EO) side chains. It is stable in neutral or mildly acid or alkaline aqueous solutions. The EO component gives PEL-SIL™ CL330 coatings additive its compatibility with water-borne systems. PEL-SIL™ CL330 has excellent wetting and recoatability. It can be used at low dosage levels. PEL-SIL™ CL330 can be recommended for use as a leveling and wetting agent in water-borne paints and coatings in automotive, transportation, construction and aerospace industries. It can also be used in solvent-based and high solid/UV curable coatings as leveling agent. For polyurethane foam coatings, PEL-SIL™ CL330 acts a surfactant and foam cell stabilizer. It is not compatible on the isocyanate side and must be added with the polyol. It exhibits excellent compatibility with most polyol premixes.

PEL-SIL™ CL290 is a organo-modified silicone-based additive consisting of a siloxane backbone and polyethylene-oxide (EO) and polypropylene oxide (PO) side chains. PEL-SIL™ CE 390 has recoatability and low tendency to foam. It is good compatibility with many resin systems. PEL-SIL™ CL290 is an excellent silicone-based additive for improving slip and mar resistance and reducing friction coefficient for solvent-borne, water-borne, and UV/EB cured coating systems. It can be used for coatings in industrial and auto, wood, and overprint vanishes and inks.
