Glycidoxy (epoxy) -functional silane that is used as a coupling agent for unsaturated polyester– fiberglass composites, polysulfide & polyurethane caulks and sealants, and glass roving size-binders. Silanes are used in a variety of industrial applications. Organofunctional Silanes have an organic functional end group and an alkoxy functional end group which allow the silane to act as a bridge between organic materials and inorganic substrates. The organic functional group is matched to the resin system while the alkoxy group provides the reactive site for crosslinking. These materials are useful as adhesion promoters, crosslinking agents, surface modifiers and hydrophobizing agents.

SYLVARES 1095 tackifier is a thermoplastic terpene phenolic resin designed for tackifying hot melt adhesives to provide superior adhesion and thermal-stability properties. This low softening point terpene phenol resin exhibits excellent compatibility and tackifying properties for use in styrenic-block-co-polymers and for solvent acrylic based pressure sensitive adhesives. This resin can also be used to tackify metallocene polymers.

Kolon Industries SUKOREZ® SU-420 is a white thermoplastic resin obtained from the copolymerization and hydrogenation of C5 aliphatic olefin and C9 aromatic olefin generated in the thermal-depolymerization process of naphtha. This product offers excellent thermal stability and compatibility with various elastomers such as Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA), Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene copolymer (SIS) and Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene copolymer (SBS) so this product is used as tackifier resin for hot melt adhesive (HMA) and hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA). SUKOREZ® SU-420 is water white aromatic modified, cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon resin. The major usage is a tackifier for EVA, SIS, SBS block copolymers and metallocene polyolefins.
