This material is RoHS compliant, intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers, and offers UL94 V0 at over 0.5 mm. It offers excellent dimensional stability, strength, stiffness, and creep resistance at high temperatures due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. It features an excellent combination of reliable metallization, SMT lead-free solder capability, and extreme dimensional stability at high temperatures. The material provides a lightweight alternative to aluminum solutions, is RoHS compliant, and is easy to flow and suitable for injection molding.

LEXAN CFR5630 resin is available in transparent and opaque colors.

SABIC's Specialties Business CYCOLOY CX7240 Polycarbonate/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (PC/ABS) blend is an injection moldable, medium flow, non chlorinated/brominated flame retardant grade. It has a UL94 V0@.75mm, 5VA@3.0mm and 5VB@1.5mm flame rating. This grade has improved chemical resistance compared to standard PC/ABS blends and is a good candidate for thin wall applications.
