Crestafire® GCS 1005PA is a pre-accelerated, low-smoke, fire-retardant, polyester-based intumescent gelcoat designed to be applied by spray in a thin layer of 500μm. It incorporates new intumescent technology. When exposed to fire, Crestafire® GCS 1005PA forms a foamed, cellular charred layer, offering a high degree of protection to the surface of the composite. It is restricted to a standard white color, designed to be post-painted, and formulated to EN45545-2 standard to meet HL3.

Crestafire® GCS 1001E is a non-accelerated, low-smoke, fire retardant intumescent polyester-based gel coat designed to be applied by spray in a thin layer of 500μm. It incorporates new intumescent technology. When exposed to fire, Crestafire® GCS 1001 E forms a foamed cellular charred layer, offering a high degree of protection to the surface of the composite. It is restricted to a standard light grey color and is designed to be post-painted.

Crestafire® P1-3001E is a filled, fire retardant unsaturated polyester resin. It incorporates a special grade of alumina trihydrate (ATH), which makes it suitable to produce laminates where excellent resin flow, fire retardancy, and low levels of smoke and toxic fumes are required. Crestafire® P1-3001E is extra stabilized for transport, storage, and use in high-temperature climates. It is halogen free and does not contain heavy metals.

Crystic® Laminating Resin 406PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, orthophthalic polyester resin. This laminating resin has rapid wet out and low exotherm, making it ideal for multi-layer laminates in spray or hand-lay applications. It has a gel time of 18 minutes and Lloyd's approval. This product is suitable for use in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 491PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, isophthalic polyester resin with good water and chemical resistance properties. It is versatile and suitable for performance boat hulls destined for use in warm or tropical areas. This product is also suitable for the manufacture of chemical plants, tanks, pipes, and chemical containers. It has a 12-minute gel time.

Crystic® Fireguard Gelcoat 72PA is a new technology spray fire retardant gelcoat which is halogen free. It has a number of fire approvals with different Crystic resin systems. This product has low surface spread of flame compared to competitive standard technology fire retardant gelcoats.

Crystic® Resin S15.6 is a very flexible unsaturated polyester resin based on adipic acid. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other polyester resins for the manufacturing of flexible products. Impregnating resins particularly isophtalic resins can be flexibilised by addition of Crystic® Resin S15.6 without any significant impact on the chemical resistance properties.

Crystic® Brush Gelcoat 69PA is a pre-accelerated Iso-NPG gelcoat formulated for brush application. It has been developed to have exceptional water and chemical resistance and is recommended for use in sanitaryware and chemical containment applications. Crystic® Gelcoat 69PA is approved by Lloyd'™s Register of Shipping.

Crystic® Brush Topcoat 507PA is a pre-accelerated Topcoat with excellent water and weather resistance, designed for use in the marine and building industries. It is based on a high quality isophthalic-NPG polyester resin and has been formulated for application by brush. The product is pigmented using a highly UV resistant grade of titanium dioxide.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 2.406PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, orthophthalic polyester resin with low styrene emission. This laminating resin has rapid wet out and low exotherm, making it ideal for multi-layer laminates in spray or hand-lay applications. It has a 16-minute gel time, Lloyd's approval, and can be used in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 701PAX is a pre-accelerated isophthalic polyester resin with low viscosity and controlled exotherm characteristics. It is designed for use in vacuum infusion processes. This product has Lloyd's approval and is suitable for use in marine, wind energy, building and construction, and transportation.

Crystic® Brush Topcoat 506PA White is a pre-accelerated Topcoat with excellent water and weather resistance, designed for use in the marine and building industries. It is based on a high quality isophthalic-NPG polyester resin and has been formulated for application by roller or brush. The product is pigmented using a highly UV resistant grade of titanium dioxide.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 199 is an isophthalic polyester resin recommended for use in high-performance applications where superior thermal and electrical properties are required. It has excellent chemical and heat resistance. This product can withstand long periods (1 year) at temperatures up to 150ºC, and shorter periods at temperatures up to 200ºC, with no serious loss of properties. It has a 30-minute gel time.

Crystic® Transfer Moulding Resin 785PA is apre-accelerated, DCPD based, polyester resin designed for use in RTM (Resin Transfer Molding). It has a lower styrene content than conventional RTM resins and can significantly reduce the occurrence of print through, to produce moldings with an enhanced surface finish.

Crystic® Isophthalic Brush Topcoat 65PAX is a general purpose, brush isophthalic topcoat which cures tack free when applied to the reverse side of a laminate. It can be used in applications where the back surface of a polyester laminate needs to be given a gelcoat finish to improve aesthetics.

Crestafix® 621CC 85 Bonding Paste is a pre-accelerated urethane acrylate/ isophthalic polyester high performance bonding paste. It is a non-sagging, filled compound, specifically designed for the assembly and bonding of GRP moldings. This highliy thixotropic polyester can also be used on timber and plasterboard.

Crestafix® 90-82PA Polyester Bonding Paste is a pre-accelerated polyester bonding paste. This product is a viscous, white, filled compound that is specifically designed for the assembly and bonding of GRP moldings. Its applications include panels, inserts, internal frames, ribs, composite constructions, and car body components. This product is a high productivity grade designed for use with narrow mixers that will dispense at a high flow rate while maintaining thixotropic properties upon vertical application.

Crystic® Vinyl Ester Resin VE679-03PA is a pre-accelerated, DCPD modified, vinyl ester resin developed for use as a infusion resin with a wide range of gel times with various catalysts. Crystic® Polyester Resin 703PA is a pre-accelerated dicyclopentadiene (DCPD)-based polyester resin primarily designed for vacuum injection. With its low viscosity and controlled exotherm characteristics, it is particularly suited for large vacuum injections, although other techniques can be used. This resin is approved by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and has excellent impact resistance, especially due to its compatibility with most reinforcement types. Because of this, it is suitable for a number of heavy-duty applications within the marine, building and construction, and transportation industries. The curing reaction requires only the addition of a catalyst to begin and should be carried out at workshop temperature. The resin, mold, and workshop should all be allowed to reach at least 15°C before the process is carried out. This resin is not ideally suited for the addition of fillers or pigments, and you should get in touch with one of our technical experts before using any additives.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 489PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, isophthalic polyester resin. When used with Crystic® Marine Grade Gelcoats such as LS 88PA, LS 97PA, LS 30PA, LS 31PA, and Permabright, it gives outstanding durability and superior blister resistance for molding boat hulls. This product is suitable for use with continuous rovings, carbon fibers, and aramids. It has a 23-minute gel time, Lloyd's approval, and is suitable for marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications.

Crystic® Vinylester Resin VE671 is an epoxy Bisphenol A based standard vinyl ester resin. It has outstanding chemical resistance to a wide range of substances, (acids, alkalies, oxidising agents) at room and elevated temperatures. The product is suitable for fabrication of fiber reinforced composites by all conventional techniques (contact molding, filament winding and injection molding) and for use in many chemical processing industry applications (storage tanks, vessels, ducts).

Crystic® Fireguard Gelcoat 70PA is our market leading halogen-free fire retardant gelcoat. It has been specifically designed for very stringent fire approvals particularly requiring low smoke characteristics. It achieves TS45545 HL2 with Crestapol 1212 and has low surface spread of flame. Crestafire® P1-3002PA is a pre-accelerated polyester resin with fire retardant properties, which make it suitable for applications where fire resistance is a major consideration. It is suitable for RTM (resin transfer molding) and RTM light applications. It requires only the addition of a catalyst to start the curing reaction.

Crestafix® B39 Adhesive is a high strength pumpable polyester adhesive formulated for production environment in boatbuilding and general fiberglass fabrication.
