ELASTOSIL® LR 3842/60 A/B is a low-oil-bleeding liquid silicone rubber from the ELASTOSIL® LR 3842 series. It is a paste-like, easily  pigmentable, two-component product with short curing times. Shortly after the curing process, a thin oil film with lubricating properties forms on the surface of the vulcanizates. The vulcanizates are opaque and exhibit good mechanical and electrical properties, as well as very low compression sets.

This injection moldable grade is optimized to allow for primer-less electrostatic painting. NORYL GTX679 resin has improved impact / elongation, and the mineral content allows for the material to be used in structural applications such as metal and thermoset resin replacement. SABIC's Specialties Business LNP ELCRES EXL7414 is based on Polycarbonate (PC) siloxane copolymer resin. It is a medium flow, non-chlorinated, non-brominated flame retardant opaque grade. It offers excellent low temperature ductility (-40C), extremely thin wall flame retardant capability with UL94 V0 at 0.6mm, and in combination with excellent processability and release with opportunities for shorter cycle times compared to standard Polycarbonate. It is available in wide range of opaque colors and is an excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications such as the battery cover of fast-charging mobile phones that need to be compliant with IEC62368-1.

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL GTX4610 resin is a 10% glass fiber reinforced alloy of Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) + Polyamide (PA). This high performance injection moldable grade has a UL 5VA flame rating, non-brominated / non-chlorinated FR package, UL746C Outdoor Suitability rating of F1, excellent chemical resistance, high heat resistance, and flow. NORYL GTX4610 resin is an excellent candidate for a wide variety of electrical applications including connectors, sockets, sensors, terminal blocks, and insulator components. The material has an optimized balance between surface resistivity and impact strength retention after hydro aging, and has excellent low temperature impact. The material is available in a wide range of dark and light colors, including UV stabilization. The material also offers very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material and is inherently flame retardant, offering UL94 V0 and 5V ratings as well as aerospace FAR 25.853 compliance. ULTEM™ Resin 1010 is RoHS compliant, and the natural, uncolored material is halogen-free according to standards IEC 61249-2-21, IPC 4101E, and JEDEC JS709B. Compliance for colored variants needs to be checked on a case-by-case basis. The base material is transparent amber-colored but is also available in custom colors, both transparent and opaque. It has a UL94 V0@.75mm, 5VA@3.0mm and 5VB@1.5mm flame rating. This grade has improved chemical resistance compared to standard PC/ABS blends and is a good candidate for thin wall applications.

This injection moldable grade contains non-brominated, non-chlorinated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of V0 at 1.5mm along with UL746C Outdoor Suitability rating of F2. This material also exhibits chemical resistance to battery acids, hydrolytic stability, high impact and heat resistance, and low specific gravity for light-weight parts. NORYL NH4050 resin may be an excellent candidate for lead acid battery housings, covers, and enclosure applications.
