Furthermore, it shows interesting benefits in reinfor-cing PBT resins. 3B’s state-of-the-art manufacturing technology provides to DS 8800-11P very good strand integri-ty and bulk density leading to smooth compounders feeding, with low fuzz generation. DS 8800-11P displays excellent dis-persion within a large range of resin viscosities, enabling high glass fiber contents (> 55%). It is known for final reinforced parts’ heat stability and high mechanical properties combi-ned with hydrolysis/glycolysis perfor-mances that are rated from high to even outstanding specifically in PPS. DS 8800 -11P also meets stringent requirements of food contact and drinkable water standards such as EC 10/2011, FDA, BfR and ACS.
