The IQF cherries are removed from the freezer, mechanically halved, conveyed across a shaker screen, sorted, and inspected. The halved cherries are sent through the slicer a second time, producing a random-cut diced cherry (approximately 3/8" dice). The fruit is repackaged and passed through a metal detector before returning to the freezer.
