XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt is a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane polymer manufactured to yield essentially linear polymers in a wide range of viscosities. The viscosities generally used in formulating polishes are in the range of 100 to 30,000 cSt. It is preferable to use a blend of a low-viscosity fluid and a high-viscosity fluid (e.g. 3 parts XIAMETER(TM) PMX- 200 Silicone Fluid 100 cSt and 1 part XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt) to obtain optimum results in terms of ease of application and depth of gloss. The low-viscosity silicone fluid acts as a lubricant to make polish application and rubout easier, whereas the high-viscosity silicone fluid produces a greater depth of gloss. Since these polymers are inherently water-repellent, they will cause water to bead up on a treated surface rather than penetrate the polish film.

The data listed in this data sheet are the lower specification limits, apart from the MFR, CTE, HDT at 1.8 MPa, Density, Tensile strain, Water Absorption, Thermal Conductivity and Shrinkage which are typical data. The MVR of this material at 337 degrees C/6.7 kgf will have a specification between 3 and 7.5 (MFR: 4.2-10.5)

SABIC's Specialties Business LNP ELCRIN 610009UXiQ compound is based on Polycarbonate / Polybutylene Terephthalate (PC/PBT) blend, utilizing ELCRIN iQ upcycling technology containing minimum 19% Post-Consumer Recycling (PCR) weight content. Added features of this grade include: Flame Retardant, UL746C F1 Rating, UL94 V0 and 5VA Flame Rating, UV Resistant, Impact Modified, Excellent Chemical Resistance.
