XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt is a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane polymer manufactured to yield essentially linear polymers in a wide range of viscosities. The viscosities generally used in formulating polishes are in the range of 100 to 30,000 cSt. It is preferable to use a blend of a low-viscosity fluid and a high-viscosity fluid (e.g. 3 parts XIAMETER(TM) PMX- 200 Silicone Fluid 100 cSt and 1 part XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt) to obtain optimum results in terms of ease of application and depth of gloss. The low-viscosity silicone fluid acts as a lubricant to make polish application and rubout easier, whereas the high-viscosity silicone fluid produces a greater depth of gloss. Since these polymers are inherently water-repellent, they will cause water to bead up on a treated surface rather than penetrate the polish film.

STEPANTEX® DA-6 is a highly active nonionic surfactant that provides emulsification, moderate foam, detergency, and excellent wetting. This product finds application in laundry, textiles, hard surface cleaning, paints, carpet cleaning, hand dishwashing, and institutional and industrial cleaning applications. The product is kosher-certified.

ZELEC® A130 can be used as a wetting agent in the paint and coating industries. In this application, it could also contribute to the improvement of corrosion resistance, gloss, color acceptance, wet scrub resistance, and the hiding power of the film. WETSOFT® NE 430 is a nonionic macroemulsion concentrate of a self-dispersing hydrophilic silicone fluid. It is used for the hydrophilic treatment of fibers and textiles of all kinds.
